The Devices tool is where you manage the hardware connected to your deployment. You can onboard, configure, and monitor the health of all cameras, sensors, and Cloud Connectors across your deployment.

Key features include:

• Unified device hub: A single lookup location to manage credentials, labels, and sites for all Alta and third-party devices.
• Plug-and-play onboarding: Quickly add new cameras and sensors or use Cloud Connectors to bring legacy hardware into the Alta ecosystem without a "rip and replace."
• Custom configuration profiles: Define recording quality, frame rates, and retention policies and apply them to groups of cameras instantly.
• AI & anomaly control: Toggle and fine-tune anomaly detection settings per device, ensuring your video analytics are optimized for the specific needs of each location.
• Proactive health monitoring: View real-time status counts for active, inactive, and error-state devices, allowing you to resolve high-priority hardware issues before they impact security.
• Site & group organization: Logically group devices by floor, building, or function to streamline large-scale deployments and simplify access permissions.
