Renew the webhook URL for Avigilon Halo Smart sensors

Update the webhook used by Avigilon Halo Smart sensors to send information to Alta Video.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have an existing Avigilon Halo Smart sensor integration configured and working with your Alta Video deployment.
  • You need access to your Avigilon Halo account.

Task — Renew the webhook URL

  1. From Alta Video, choose Tools Tools > Devices Devices > Sensors.
  2. Right-click the Halo sensor to update. Choose Edit Sensor.
  3. Click Renew webhook URL from the Edit Halo sensor dialog.
  4. Copy the Set, Reset, and Heartbeat strings in turn, and paste them into the matching fields in your Avigilon Halo account.
  5. From Alta Video, click Done.
